Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage uses smooth, water-heated basalt (or volcanic) stones.
Traditional Swedish Massage techniques are used with the stones allowing
their heat to penetrate the muscles, leaving the body feeling deeply relaxed
and rejuvenated. Throughout the treatment, heated stones are also placed
along various parts of the body (such as along the spine) to stimulate its
energy centres. Hot Stone Massage treatments can be customized and adapted
to the client’s needs. Not only can it be used for stress relief and to
help release chronic muscle tension, but a combination of Hot and Cold
stones can be used for a more invigorating effect; energizing and promoting
circulation throughout the body.
